High tech instrumentation and equipment are utilized, along with state of the art scientific techniques, to obtain the most accurate outcome possible. A full suite of equipment includes several different kinds of microscopes, including stereo and comparison, with digital imaging capability. Measuring equipment capable of measuring to one ten thousandth of an inch, scales capable of weighing items in increments of less than one four thousandth of an ounce .Additionally, sophisticated instrumentation is used to record surface temperature, projectile velocity, internal gun pressures, trigger characteristics, and lock time.

Forensic Firearms & Ballistics

A forensic firearms and ballistics consulting and expert witness service is offered to attorneys, private investigators, military, insurance companies, and other professionals. ARC offer an impartial and independent opinion on any issue related to firearms, ballistics, crime scene reconstruction, tool marks, accident reconstruction and related issues. Opinions are backed up by sound science. Video taped demonstrations, and PowerPoint presentations, can be furnished to aid courtroom understanding of technical issues. This service is offered for criminal and civil cases; prosecution or defense - including Public Defenders.

Testimony has been provided in many state and federal courts.
